Retro Pin-Up Engagement Session in New Braunfels

Ian & Nicole found me through a referral from one of my Michigan clients - small world! Nicole suggested a retro-themed shoot in their backyard, since Ian repairs vintage hot rods. It turned out wonderfully! Taking photographs in a place that is important to the couple (in this case, Ian & Nicole's home together) really makes the engagement session special.

Ian & Nicole were game to try any and all of my ideas ("Let's climb up into the treehouse!"). This is what Nicole had to say when she saw them:

I couldn’t stop staring at the pictures! I am lacking even in the correct words to put my feelings together. So impressive, gorgeous and amazing. You truly caught every detail and we had a blast.
We’re so excited for you shooting our wedding! It is great to have you capturing these moments for us. Thank you for being so awesome!!

A Sweet Bookish Wedding at TerrAdorna in Austin

Erica & Jess are one of those couples where you can tell they belong together - from the way Jess lit up when he saw Erica during the first look to how Erica found serenity in Jess's arms during the inevitable chaos of the wedding. It was a joy to capture these two and their family and friends at TerrAdorna in Austin, TX.

Outdoor Rustic Same-Sex Wedding in New Braunfels

Jaye & Art were married at Boulder Springs, a venue expressly designed and perfectly suited for weddings in the Hill Country surrounding Austin. Located in New Braunfels, it provided the perfect backdrop for a sweet, rustic outdoor wedding.

Short & Sweet Chapel Dulcinea Elopement

Last weekend I shot an elopement at the Chapel Dulcinea at the Wizard School. It's a free wedding venue provided by the oddly named business school - a beautiful open air chapel sitting on the edge of a cliff. Click to enlarge images.

Chapel Dulcinea is beautiful and overlooks Texas hill country.

As you approach Chapel Dulcinea, you follow a winding path through beautiful landscaping.

It's tradition for couples to ring the chapel bell immediately after getting married.

This signifies that another marriage has been performed at Chapel Dulcinea.
